K-12 InVenture Prize Summer Accelerator
Dates: July 8 - July 12, 2019
Day Camps (9 AM- 3 PM)
Grade Level: rising 6th-8th Grade
Did you love participating in the K-12 InVenture Prize in Elementary or Middle School and want to keep working on your project? Never participated but want to try out invention and entrepreneurship? In this program, we will overview the invention process for a middle school audience (rising 6th-8th graders) with helpful tips on how to take your invention ideas to the next level. We will cover customer discovery, problem identification, brainstorming techniques, prototyping, patents, and how to pitch your ideas, while using fun hands-on activities with advice from real inventors and Georgia Tech faculty. Program participants will have an opportunity to submit an at-large entry to the K-12 InVenture Prize if they attend a middle school that does not have a K-12 InVenture Prize program.
